Praise for Five Prayers of Apples:
“Margaret Hoehn is the poet observer, the seer of silence, and the
maker of psalms. She transforms the ordinary into a thing of exquisite
beauty. 'Five Prayers of Apples' is a small collection of poems that can
be read once a month for the rest of your life. Everything Hoehn touches,
remembers, or sees, turns luminous.”
James Elkins
Editor, Legal Studies Forum
"Like a leaf tumbling through autumn air, Margaret J Hoehn's poems shimmer in lyrical light, each reflecting, as it floats down the page, the swirls and eddies, the detailed nuances, of our common human experience."
